Purpose statement

The short-term objective of the Company is to be a trusted, consistent and unifying voice in the Australian Community to challenge, encourage & affirm people in the Christian faith. The long-term objective of the Company is to be a leader in communicating the Gospel message in Australia by strategically using the most effective and appropriate media and technologies available. There is much evidence to show how our activities are achieving our charitable purpose, including: The establishment of facilities, infrastructure and teams. The continual and ongoing production of many forms of media content that promotes participation in and understanding of the Christian faith. The establishment of numerous distribution mechanisms to take that content to the marketplace, including a national radio transmission network of over 800 sites with a potential audience reach of over sixteen million people in Australia. Over ten million daily devotional magazines printed and distributed since 1994. Tens of millions of content-driven email communications sent. The production and distribution of over half a million individual Christian resource items (e.g. books, DVDs etc.) Two distinct radio content streams targeting different demographics, both are broadcast and available online. Numerous podcasts. Numerous websites and mobile app with 25,000 monthly active app users and 65,000 monthly active web users. The establishment of support services and partnerships with other organisations and individuals aligned with our purpose. The regular promotion of events aligned with our charitable purpose, including music, arts, education and other areas. A significant number of testimonial stories from the public showing the high value of our activities in their lives are received on a daily basis. The high level of demand for our services. An increasing level of support from the public. Independent qualitative and quantitative surveys. In summary, United Christian Broadcasters Australia Limited, operating as Vision Christian Media, has become a trusted, consistent and unifying voice in the Australian community that challenges, encourages & affirms people in the Christian faith through a broad set of media productions and outlets.
